My Saturday Weekend

On Saturday I woke up at about 8.20am, got dressed went outside and walked my dog down to the dog park. There were no dogs there, but we had a great time playing and running around. We walked back home and breakfast was ready, mum had made bacon and eggs and it was really nice. About 30 minutes later we went to our gardens witch is about 6 minutes away from our home.

When we got to the garden I walked down the back and I drove the tractor back to the front and loaded it with some crates  onto the tractor. Then my dad drove it down the back to cut Lettuce, after about 20 crates it was lunch time. So we pack up and walked back to have lunch and have a little break. Soon after   Lunch we walked back and finish the rest of the Lettuce. 

And then there was a bit of a breeze so me and my sister took out the kite and flew it for a bit, soon I got a bit bored so I started doing some tiktoks with my dog. That was so fun, soon later we went back home that was my weekend.

Queen Birthday

Queen Birthday

Queen's Birthday it celebrated every year on the 1st of june, which is also celebrated in most Commonwealth countries like Australia and New Zealand. Queen's Birthday is a national holiday, Schools and some businesses will close during this time which goes for 3 days.

This year Queen Elizabeth II is turning 94 years old, she became Queen when it was 1953. She was only 27 when she bacame Queen to the 57 Commonwealth countries.

For Queen's Birthday this year me and my family went to Auckland for a holiday, first we woke up early at 2am and we got ready to head to Auckland. We stopped in Taupo around 7.30am and had Subway for breakfast, and that was the only time we stopped.

When we arrived in Auckland we went to Taco Bell for lunch, it was so good. After we had Lunch we went my parents friends house we gave her a few things, then head to have dinner we went to a resraunt and the food was so good. We stayed the night at my parents friend place.

The next day we went to Auckland Zoo, it was so fun we saw so many diffrent animals. My favourite animals were the Monkeys and the Lions. We were there for a few hours then we went back to pack up all of our stuff, put it into the car and came back to Otaki.

My Level 4 Lock down

Every day during the level 4 lock down I would go help my parents at our garden, which is about 7 minutes drive from our house. At our garden we grow Cauli flower, Broccoli, Brocco flower, Red Cabbege, Parsley, Beet root.

Almost every day we had to cut Cauli flower and that takes about a few hours. When it was raining I  would put on our rain jacket  and go and help my mum, she would most the time be picking parsley. I would ask her if she needed a hand with anything.

When I'm at the garden I would always have something to do, sometime it gets really boring and sometime it would be very fun. A few time when I had nothing to do I would ask my sister if she needed any help with anything.

Thats what I mostly did during the end of level 4 lock down, now it's fun being back at school.

How do you feel about the Corona Virus?

I fell prepared for anything  I need for when the Corona Virus Hits.

How has the Corona Virus impacted on you? The Corona Virus has impacted my sports for athletics, I was really happy to do it but now I'm a bit pissed that it isn't happening.

What can you do to help your family with the Corona Virus? I'm making sure they wash there hand with warm soapy water and make sure they don't incounter anyone that has the Corona Virus.

Name 2 things you need to do so you don’t contact the Corona Virus? I am washing my hands all the time and putting hand sanitiser on my hands every hour.

W.A.L.T use deseriptive language to inform our adience.

After lunch our classes lined up and we walked over to the hall. Then we all sat down in our rooms, then one of the teachers greated the people in to the hall. Some people did a haka powhiri, when it was over we all sat down.

Then Mr Freaser talked to us about the SS Otaki for a few minutes, then we sang a the national anthem. After that a few other people spoke about world war 2, then we sang another song in Moari. Then they started laying the wreaths, then we sang another song and then we stode up and we had a minutes. then we sat down and then we left the hall to have lunch.

The importint thing that we do as a group is to paticapate and share ideas with the group, re-read the question for key word to help you solve the problem and find ways to solve the problem like you could use a bar gragh, chart, t chart, pie chart. 

After we solve the problem there are 4 roles that people in the group have to play, they are.

1. Reader that reads the problem out.
2. Writer the one who writes the answer on the bored.
3. Explaner they Explan how they got the answer.
4. Questioner who at the end ask's if there are any questions about how you got the answer
