Maths Problem Solving

1. Thing I've learn't was that you should always try to solve the problem with what ever way we can with like multiplication.

1. Thing I need to work on is to always try to work the problem out with my group and to always help.

Skills that my group have used in the problem solving were working with each other and listening to each others Ideas. 

Maths problem solving slide and My reading slide

After presenting our Group Maths Problem solving slideshows and our own Reading Journal
slideshows I learnt that: It really takes a long time to make both the sides but with my maths group
help make the maths side, I really enjoyed making them both.

1 thing that was good about my/our presentation was:The reading slide but 1 thing that was the
good was the draw of the Waka Hoe and the patterns and the meaning of them. Their was every thing
that me and my group for problem solving would do while we try to get the answer.

1 thing I found hard about our/my presentation was:The reading slide took a long time but there wasn't
really many question and 1 thing that I found hard was drawing the Waka Hoe.

1 thing I need to improve on is:to add more detail to my reading slide because I didn't add much detail
to the question.

Tupaia

Tupaia was a master navigator,who was born in Raiatea, French Polynesia. Tupaia was well known for being on the Endeavour with James Cook, Tupaia came to New Zealand with James to see what there was on the Island and to translate for him and to navigate for him, Tupaia died from Malaria. and I found out that Tupaia could communicate with the moari.

What I've learnt about Matariki

Matariki is a cluster of star witch rises in the Northeast every June to July, Matariki is the sign to Maori's as the new year. Matariki is not just celebrated in New Zealand, it is celebrated  in diffrent places of the world.

Matariki is the mother of 8 children, Matariki is the gathering of people and whanau and reflection and the environment. It is the brightest star of them all and the biggest.

And that is what I've learnt about Matariki.

Our rocket launch

last week  all the  rocket groups launch their rockets. When it was my groups turn I checked the wind and it was still. After that I measured the water and I put in 275ml  in to the bottle, then Daniel put the rocket on to the launcher then Koya pumped it to 60 PSI. Soon later we all counted down from 5 then  I pressed the leather and the rocket blasted off. When I went to get the rocket I realised that a few of the fins fell off the rocket.

We probably needed to change the fins so they would be a bit bigger then the regular ones and needed some weight in the nose of the rocket.

My team  mostly collaborate well and didn't really fight  about making the rocket, but mostly the whole rocket I made and most the time it was fun to make and I had to plan it and that bit was really boring. So if I do this again another time I would want more help in my group want them to not talk as much as my group.
