Nǐ hǎo, 

My name is Dayna, I'm a student at Ōtaki College in New Zealand. My interests are Maths, Running, Basketball and Netball. I have a dog who is named Bear and a cat called Nia. One thing not many people know about me is that I’ve been to China 4 times. I hope you enjoy my blog.

Science

Today lit a bunsen burner, it took me a few times to light the match and then I turned on the gas and then I turn the collar. If the collar was open it would make a orange flame and if it was closed it would be blue. It was so funn.

Maths

W.A.L.T use in Algebra the order of operation.

Thing I learn't this week was the order of operation in maths, I did really get it at first and now get it. The order of moperation is 1  Brackets 2 Exponents  3 Division and Multiplication  4 Subtraction and Addition.  But if there were no brackets, If like there was only Divsion and Mutiplication you would have to work the problem out from left to right. If it was the same with Subtraction and Addition you would just do it the same way.

Hanging Out With My Friend Eden

In the second week of the holidays I went to my friend Eden's place to stay for the night. When I got

to her place we had some pumpkin soup and toast for lunch, we sat down for a bit then we went down

to the beach for a run around. After being at the beach for about 10 minutes we walked back to her

house.

Soon later we got a bit bored so we decided to scooter down to Haruatai park, which took about 15 to 20

minutes to get there and we stopped once to go to the diary to get some lollies. We sat around there

for a bit then  scootered back to her place, then watched the movie movie Ralph Breaks The Internet and talked with our other friends

on our phones.
Later on it was dinner time Edens mum had made rice, vegs and some cut up steak. When we finished

dinner we went back to her room and continued watching the movie Ralph Breaks The Internet, and soon

later we went to sleep around 10pm.

The next day we got ready, then Eden's Mum's car didn't start, so we caught the bus to Paraparumu.

When we got there we went into the mall and thought about what we

would do, we walked around for a bit to burn time. We went to farmers like at least 7 times, then we went

to pasco's to buy my mum  some earrings.

At 12.40 we went to the cinema to watch Trolls World tour. We got some popcorn and some snacks from paknsave and went to go watch the movie. Later we saw some teachers and some friends, while we

were walking around. We went back to Edens Mum and we went to get some clothes for her. Then we walked down to the train station in Paraparaumu

We took a train back to Waikanae and Eden's brother picked us up and took us all back to her place.

Soon later we had rice and chicken for dinner, then my dad picked me up. I had such A fun time with

Eden. I Hope we can spend more time like that again.

Today some of the beans have sprouted. The lemon and peas I don't think they have sprouted yet.

My Saturday Weekend

On Saturday I woke up at about 8.20am, got dressed went outside and walked my dog down to the dog park. There were no dogs there, but we had a great time playing and running around. We walked back home and breakfast was ready, mum had made bacon and eggs and it was really nice. About 30 minutes later we went to our gardens witch is about 6 minutes away from our home.

When we got to the garden I walked down the back and I drove the tractor back to the front and loaded it with some crates  onto the tractor. Then my dad drove it down the back to cut Lettuce, after about 20 crates it was lunch time. So we pack up and walked back to have lunch and have a little break. Soon after   Lunch we walked back and finish the rest of the Lettuce. 

And then there was a bit of a breeze so me and my sister took out the kite and flew it for a bit, soon I got a bit bored so I started doing some tiktoks with my dog. That was so fun, soon later we went back home that was my weekend.

Queen Birthday

Queen Birthday

Queen's Birthday it celebrated every year on the 1st of june, which is also celebrated in most Commonwealth countries like Australia and New Zealand. Queen's Birthday is a national holiday, Schools and some businesses will close during this time which goes for 3 days.

This year Queen Elizabeth II is turning 94 years old, she became Queen when it was 1953. She was only 27 when she bacame Queen to the 57 Commonwealth countries.

For Queen's Birthday this year me and my family went to Auckland for a holiday, first we woke up early at 2am and we got ready to head to Auckland. We stopped in Taupo around 7.30am and had Subway for breakfast, and that was the only time we stopped.

When we arrived in Auckland we went to Taco Bell for lunch, it was so good. After we had Lunch we went my parents friends house we gave her a few things, then head to have dinner we went to a resraunt and the food was so good. We stayed the night at my parents friend place.

The next day we went to Auckland Zoo, it was so fun we saw so many diffrent animals. My favourite animals were the Monkeys and the Lions. We were there for a few hours then we went back to pack up all of our stuff, put it into the car and came back to Otaki.
