Problem Solving

The importint thing that we do as a group is to paticapate and share ideas with the group, re-read the question for key word to help you solve the problem and find ways to solve the problem like you could use a bar gragh, chart, t chart, pie chart. 

After we solve the problem there are 4 roles that people in the group have to play, they are.
Roles

1. Reader that reads the problem out.
2. Writer the one who writes the answer on the bored.
3. Explaner they Explan how they got the answer.
4. Questioner who at the end ask's if there are any questions about how you got the answer

That is how we do problem solving in our class.

1. What is 1 thing I have learn't this week was how to read a graph and how to use it.

      2. What is 1 thing I enjoyed this week was doing our maths assessment.

      3. What is one thing I need to improve on is to always stay focus on what we are doing.

Something I've learn't this week

W.A.L.T add detail in our writing.

1. Thing I learn't this week was the order of operation in maths, I did really get it at first and now get it. The order of operation is 1  Brackets 2 Exponents  3 ÷ x  4 + - .

1. Thing I need to work on is always try to stay focus with my tasks.

1. Thing I enjoyed this week was learning CPR at the surf club.  

Beach Day

The first thing we did was learn what D, R, S, A, B, C and it means Danger, Response, Send help, Air way, Breathing and CPR. After we did that we learn't to do CPR with dummy, with a baby it was 2 fingers and with a child 1 hand and with an adult 2 hands.

After we had morning tea for 15 minutes, then we went for a beach clean and there was a challenge of which group would get the most rubbish will get a prize. Soon after that we  did a few challenges  the first one was the wheatbix eating and it was the first to finish a wheatbix, Then after we did the chubby bunny challenge which was really fun.

Then after that we had lunch for half an hour then most of us went out and played in the water for about an hour, but the water was really cold. After we got changed and  went back to the college. That was my day at the beach.

What ROAR means for our school

Roar is something that we follow in the college and each one of us always try to follow it and it stands for.

The first R stands for Respect which means to treat others how you want to be treated.

 O stands for O.C pride which means to where the right uniform at all times.

A stands for Active learner which means to always listen and do you work in time.

And the last R stands for Responsibility which means to charge your chrome book up every day before you bring it to school.
