Teachers Strike

Do you know why we had a day off last week on Wednesday? Because  all of the teachers in New Zealand  went on strike.

The reason  why  the teachers went on strike is because  their  work load is to long and don't get paid enough but it isn't about the pay for them it is and the kids for the teachers, so we all get a good  education and a good job.

I disagree that the teachers that should go on strike because the parents will have to find someone to look after there kids.

Revolution Tour

Boom boom boom as the music came roaring from the hall. A few minutes later the leader of the group, his name was Ben started talking about  what was happening in his life.  

My favourite part was about his friend called Nathen,  the story began by Ben moving to a new  school in the middle of the year. Once he moved he had no friends at his new school  But  Nathen knew Ben because they lived next door to each other. They were both like best friend, everyday they would go home  and watch there favourite tv program Dragon Ball. After the  Dragon ball  finished they would race down there drive way and wait until 5 on the dot to Nathens Dad to come home . One day in the weekend Ben went with his dad to go clean out the pool  and when they were finish and started to lock up Ben's dad said I have 3 words to tell you Nathen has past.  

That was my favourite bit of it all and I hope everyone learnt some thing about it.

Commemoration day

On Monday the 11th of march I attended the Commemoration day, which was at the Otaki College. After we sat down they started the karanga, Whaea Maharata, Whaea Destin and this other person and I didn't no what her name was.

I enjoyed when they started to put the wreaths on the stands, each wreath was given to someone to put on the stand. And almost all the wreaths had flowers.

The SSOtaki had only had one gun on the ship it only was used for cargo. The SSOtaki sunk in world war 1.

At the end of the Commemoration we finish it off with a prayer.

Today we learn't about preposition sentences,  preposition sentences are have a a few words and you move the location of them around so you don't have one boring old sentence. I was really fun learning about it.
